It’s Friday/Saturday night, it’s time to party, and you realize you have no clothes to wear. You have loads of ladies’ dresses in your wardrobe, but none of them work. Haha or maybe your best friend hasn’t returned your favorite. Instead of getting into a panic and proclaiming what we all say “I need new clothes” or “Why doesn’t anything look good on me anymore?”, turn to the solution for all occasions – the Little Black Dress!
It’s minimal, versatile, affordable and elegant: It has been a timeless staple in every woman’s wardrobe for almost a century. I actually love the fashion philosophy that believes in the “less is more” motto. Some of the famous LBD’s over the ages:
- Audrey Hepburn- Breakfast at Tiffany’s
- Lady Diana’s Revenge Dress – After separation from Prince Charles
- Angelina Jolie – Maleficent
- Kim Kardashian – Sexy before the wedding
- Rihanna – Most desirable women award 2014
So this dress I’m wearing is made up of a tulle fabric. Tulle is a soft, fine silk, cotton, or nylon material like net, used for making veils and dresses. It’s a breezy and breathable fabric which means it will reduce your sweat levels. Comfy right? Also, it’s great as summer wear. It has tiny straps which contribute to its allure and it’s backless for sexy vibes.
To give the look more of a rock-star edge, I added a yellow biker jacket that I got from Primark. This dress is perfect for those who want to look sexy while still flattering their shape. It is perfect for creating an hour glass figure even if you don’t have it (not the case here!).
Tip: Keep it simple. Simplicity equates to the versatility that allows you to wear it everywhere.
Quote of the week: Black will always be the new black – Myself 🙂
Until next time xx!
