The day started with heavy downpour. I mean the weather app said it would rain during our entire stay there, but it hadn’t so we thought it was a matter of luck. How wrong we were!! There was just no way to go out in that hence why we started looking for indoor activities. The view from our balcony was nice though.
Anyway, the rain was short lived and we decided to have a look see at the nearest beach to our apartments. That happened to be Msasani beach.I was utterly disappointed because it was way way too dirty honestly. I did manage to sneak a picture of us though before the rain started again.
But enough was enough and it was time we headed to a nice beach. Google came through and led us to Slipway Hotel.
So, located just 7km from the Dar es Salaam city center on the posh Msasani peninsula is Slipway Hotel. It’s one of the hotels right on the Indian Ocean overlooking Msasani Bay. It’s so posh and beautiful guys 🙂
The hotel is integrated into the Slipway complex, which provides a wide range of amenities including various other dining options, an outdoor swimming pool, a private beach, various shops, most of the selling souvenirs and other useful ones like a supermarket and everything a traveler needs. They even don’t allow you to swim but you can hire a speed boat and have a blast.
The symmetries were insane!! A photographer would love it here. As for the food, it’s aiit; neither here nor there but everyone knows we were there for the cocktails and sunset haha.
Until next time xx!
