Have you ever felt like you are tired of wearing simple skinny pants? That is how I’ve been feeling for some weeks now which is why I’m going all out on anything loose. So, if you are in the same situation, well then you must change your dressing style and get the latest palazzo pants. Our legs too need some breathing room, no?
F.Y.I palazzo pants are long pants with extremely wide legs that flare out from the waist which makes it different from bell-bottom pants which flare out from the knee and also parallel pants which have a straight cut. I have taken the liberty to drop some knowledge on how to style them. If styled properly, you are sure to make a few heads turn around.
1. Pair palazzo pants with a solid crop/fitting top. This is a sure way of ensuring your outfit does not go overboard and to keep things casual. Flat tummy humans, this is your best bet.
2. Dress it like a jumpsuit with the same colored top. If you top this off by adding a belt, it can help define your waist line.
3. Go formal with them. What I mean by this is, you can suit it up with a structured blazer and formal shirt; VOILA!
4. For all Indians or Indian-outfit lovers, replace the tights and salwars with palazzo pants and pair them with either long kurtas or lehenga jackets. Mwah!
Plus it’s just not palazzo pants only. There are actually a variety of loose pants out there for the taking e.g. tapered pants, cargo pants, chinos, harem pants, parallel pants, overalls and capri pants just to mention a few. They mostly come in flowy silky or cotton soft fabrics that just blow in the wind, making you feel irresistibly sexy and sophisticated. Haha trust me I would know or at least that’s what I tell myself when I’m feeling extra 🙂
So yeah I hope you like my look: patterned palazzo pants with a green off-shoulder top and a moto jacket because it was early morning. I bought the heels I have on for my undergraduate graduation whose link is THIS in case you missed it. The choker is from my friend Christine who owns Michiko Art. She really does have amazing pieces so check her Instagram out and order order order!
So babes, drop a comment if you would like to know anything more about this look and I would be happy to help.
